The University of Iowa College of Education’s Teacher Leader Center will host a panel discussion “Tweet the Good: Positive Social Media in Schools,” from 5 to 6 p.m. Wednesday, March 27. The discussion will take place in Room N140 Lindquist Center and is free and open to the public.

The Senior Project connects high school students with area seniors. Their work together will result in written portraits of new friends made across the generations.

The class surveys a selection of the various types of law that govern the approximately 60 countries in the world where the majority or a sizable minority of the people are Muslims and looks at how those countries incorporate Islam into their law. Only a few use shari'a.

Wilton High School junior Maxwell Roth will spend his senior year of high school living at the UI pursuing a career in biomedical engineering thanks to an early entrance honors program through the UI Belin-Blank Center's National Academy of Arts, Sciences, and Engineering.

Iowa’s top high school math and science students will visit the University of Iowa campus Feb. 28 and March 1 to present research at the annual Iowa Regional Junior Science and Humanities Symposium. The event is hosted by the UI College of Education’s Belin-Blank Center.
