UI hosts classics conference

The Classical Association of the Middle West and South annual meeting begins Wednesday and runs through Saturday.

'Iowa Now' traveled with the troupe to Indian Hills Community College to document the dancers' well-rounded experience.

Center for New Music Ensemble to perform April 21

The Center for New Music Ensemble, featuring guest composer Hans Tutschku of Harvard University, will perform at 7:30 p.m. Sunday, April 21, in Riverside Recital Hall on the UI campus. The program will feature three compositions by Tutschku, along with works by Bert Van Herck (visiting assistant professor in the UI School of Music) and Gérard Grisey.
