Dare to Discover campaign launches

Have you noticed the banners throughout downtown Iowa City? In January 2016, the Office of Research and Economic Development launched a Dare to Discover campaign showcasing researchers, scholars, and creators from across the University of Iowa. The campaign website shares the stories behind the personal faces of discovery and creativity.

Furry Friends a benefit to all

The Furry Friends program, a Volunteer Services program and a part of the Department of Rehabilitation Therapies at UI Hospitals and Clinics, began in 2003 as a way to lighten and brighten patients’ days. Therapy dogs help patients forget the present, even if it’s just for a few minutes.
