UI professor develops tool to improve aphasia diagnosis

Jean Gordon, associate professor in the Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders, is developing a tool to improve diagnosis of aphasia—the inability to speak, write, and/or understand language as a result of brain damage, usually stroke.
