UI students holding pledge drive to stand up against sexual assault

The University of Iowa Student Government, Graduate, and Professional Student Government, and the President’s Student Advisory Committee on Sexual Misconduct will be encouraging students, staff, and faculty to take a stand against sexual assault by making the “It’s On Us” pledge during a drive campaign on Tuesday through Thursday, Oct. 28 to Oct. 30.

Katie Nasenbenny, a senior on the University of Iowa women’s soccer team, was one of 200 NCAA student-athletes across all divisions to attend the NCAA Career in Sports Forum this past summer. The event was held at the NCAA Headquarters in Indianapolis and is considered one of the most prominent, invitation-only events that a current NCAA student-athlete can attend.
