Hancher to present 'All Recipes Are Home'

The University of Iowa’s Hancher will present "All Recipes Are Home" April 17-18 at the Johnson County Fairgrounds. This new play, co-commissioned by Hancher and created by Iowa City’s Working Group Theatre, explores how food, farming, sustainability, and agriculture affect our lives and culture.

Lisa Fasone was 3 when doctors diagnosed her with an irregular heartbeat. Though her condition eventually disappeared, Fasone was forever changed. Today, the UI junior credits the experience with her decision to become a physician assistant and help sick children, especially those living in poverty.
