University of Iowa staff received a report from a student she was sexually assaulted by an acquaintance, in a residence hall, in the early morning hours of Saturday, May 9, 2015.

Finalists looking to become the next University of Iowa president will visit campus as early as Aug. 31, according to a schedule approved by the UI Presidential Search and Screen Committee May 8.

About 5,100 University of Iowa students will mark educational milestones as they receive their degrees at spring 2015 commencement ceremonies. Ceremonies begin Thursday, May 14, with the College of Pharmacy commencement and end Friday, June 5, with the College of Dentistry. All other ceremonies will be held May 15-16.
