Vincent Liu, clinical professor of dermatology in the University of Iowa Carver College of Medicine, was named the recipient of the Robert F. Godwin Professorship in Dermatology. The five-year appointment became effective Jan. 1, 2017.
Beth MacKenzie: Waste reducer

Meet Beth MacKenzie, the UI’s new recycling coordinator. Based in the Office of Sustainability, MacKenzie’s goal is to help the UI meet its 2020 target of diverting 60 percent of on-campus waste away from the landfill. She also leads Recyclemania 2017, an all-campus recycling initiative that begins on Feb. 5.
