Council on Undergraduate Research selects UI student’s project for Posters on the Hill

University of Iowa student Caroline Wadman and her faculty mentor, Gerene Denning, will head to Washington, D.C., to participate in a selective research showcase called Posters on the Hill. Wadman's project focuses on ATV-related deaths and injuries and will inform educational materials.

Iowa swept the basketball academic awards given by the College Sports Information Directors of America. Men’s basketball player Jarrod Uthoff was named the national Academic All-America of the Year, while Ally Disterhoft won the same award for women’s basketball. No other school has won both awards in the same year.
