Accreditation review team to visit UI campus March 25–26

As one part of a periodic review of the University of Iowa’s institutional accreditation, a team of peer reviewers from the Higher Learning Commission (HLC) will visit campus March 25–26 to meet with university leaders, faculty, staff, and students.

UI revokes student organization status for four fraternities after alcohol, hazing incidents

The University of Iowa has removed the registered student organization status for the Kappa Sigma, Delta Chi, and Sigma Nu fraternity chapters, as well as the Sigma Alpha Epsilon colony. The action comes after the conclusion of comprehensive investigations into incidents involving hazing and alcohol.
