Two lanes of Madison Street near the Iowa Memorial Union, in the one-block area south of Jefferson Street and north of Iowa Avenue, will be closed from February 17 to March 27. One lane of traffic in each direction will remain open at all times.

The University of Iowa Dance Marathon announced Saturday night that UI students and partners raised $1,801,032.20—$300,000 more than last year and the largest amount in the event’s history.

Today, University of Iowa's Dance Marathon marks its 20th anniversary of helping fund pediatric cancer research at the UI Carver College of Medicine and providing programs for patients and their families at UI Children's Hospital. Those affected most talk about the impact of improving cancer research.

All works choreographed by faculty members and graduate students in the University of Iowa Department of Dance will come to life on stage at the Faculty/Graduate Concert at 8 p.m. Thursday-Saturday, Feb. 13-15, in Space Place Theater, 101 North Hall, on the UI campus.
