Eean Crawford
Crawford is an Associate Professor of Management & Entrepreneurship and Henry B. Tippie Research Fellow in the Tippie College of Business at the University of Iowa. He received his doctorate in management from the University of Florida, and his master’s and bachelor’s degrees in accounting from Brigham Young University. He conducts research on employee engagement, team effectiveness, social networks, leadership and personality. His research has been published in Academy of Management Journal, Academy of Management Review, Journal of Applied Psychology, and Organization Science. He currently teaches Introduction to Management to more than 600 undergraduates every year. He is a former recipient of the Cannon Faculty Scholarship for Teaching Excellence in the Tippie College of Business, and the winner of the 2019 Tippie Collegiate Teaching Award, given to the top instructor in the college. He has consulted with numerous organizations about their employee engagement and team effectiveness including HNI Corp., Panda Restaurant Group, the Veterans Health Administration, the U.S. Marine Corps, Modine Manufacturing, Acciona Wind Power, ITA Group, and the Masters of Business Administration programs at the University of Florida and Manchester Business School.
