Eligible voters can cast their ballots at several University of Iowa locations during early voting and on Election Day.
Monday, October 5, 2026

Voting gives us an opportunity to take part in civic life, but finding time to cast a ballot can sometimes be a challenge. This fall, 11 locations across campus will serve as polling places for the Nov. 3 general election, including five early voting places.

Early voting gives you flexibility in when and where you cast your ballot, but on Election Day, your polling place is determined by where you live. Iowa law requires that you cast your ballot at the polling place designated for your precinct, so if you’re voting on Nov. 3, confirm your assigned location before heading to the polls.
