University of Iowa Stead Family Children's Hospital received a book vending machine from The Caitlin Clark Foundation to "empower pediatric patients to find joy and build connections with their siblings, parents, and children’s hospital staff by choosing books that interest them."

The new Turning Pages, Healing Hearts program reflects the mission of the Caitlin Clark Foundation, which focuses on education, nutrition and opportunities that positively impact young people.

Clark, who played basketball at Iowa from 2020-2024, is the nation's all-time leading scorer. The West Des Moines, Iowa, native now plays in the WNBA for the Indiana Fever.
