Schedule includes workshops for professionals, plus a Homecoming event for alumni

The University of Iowa School of Social Work in the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences will host two workshops for social workers, mental health counselors, and substance abuse professionals in September.

Pathways to Solutions with Self-Destructive Adolescents will take place from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Friday, Sept. 21, at Black Hawk Hotel, Davenport, Iowa. The $55 registration fee includes lunch. Mathew Selekman is the presenter.

Social Work Ethics and Spirituality will take place from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., Friday, Sept. 28, at 332 North Hall, Iowa City, Iowa. The $20 registration fee includes lunch. Yvonne Farley is the instructor.
