Undergraduate dance majors in the University of Iowa Department of Dance will present their choreography to the public in the Undergraduate Concert at 8 p.m. Thursday-Saturday, May 8-10, in Space Place Theatre (101 North Hall, UI campus).

The full performance will include:

  • The Vitality Within, choreography by Bianca Medina (dancers: Malinda Baty, Dakota Gonzalez, Anthony Pucci, Molly Schuneman, Kaelee Wittrock)
  • Mindful Sensibility, choreography by Tyler Clark (dancers: Mary O’Connor and Lindsey Wong)
  • Crosswords, choreography by Katie Skinner (dancer: Lauren Linder)
  • Resolve, choreography by Alee Ronchetto (dancers: Irina Gass, Sirena Lindsay, Emily McElwain, Anthony Pucci, Kristen Vasilakos)
  • Encountering Pieces of Glass, choreography by Sarah Finley (dancers: Sarah Finley and Brittany Zimmerman)
  • Shock Absorber, choreography by Anna Krupp (dancers: Venezia Manuel, Emily McElwain, Libby Westra)
  • Life’s Push and Pull, choreography by Brooke Robinson (dancers: Blake Boseneiler, Samantha Ensor, Bridget Heddens, Claire Lindstrom, Kelsey Lox, Brooke Robinson, Kaylee Snider, Ainsley Tharp)
  • Incredibox, choreography by Ethan Rome, (dancers: Dakota Gonzales, Tyler Nemmers, Anthony Pucci)
  • What? Why? Okay!, choreography by Devanshi Mishra (dancers: Bridget Heddens, Korinne Fangmann, Nicole Zozulia)
  • Mind Games, choreography by Irina Gass (dancers: Melissa Krienke and Kristen Vasilakos)
  • Innersection of the Intersection, choreography by Carmen T. Stuart (dancers: Irina Gass and Libby Westra)
  • Psychogenic Effect, choreography by Nicole Zozulia (dancer: Nicole Zozulia)
  • Transparansee, choreography by Sophia Sednova (dancers: Sophia Sednova and Zachary Bird)
  • Gli Oroscopi, choreography by Dakota Gonzalez (dancers: Irina Gass, Melissa Krienke, Bianca Medina, Anthony Pucci, Ethan Rome, Libby Westra)

Tickets for the Undergraduate Concert are $12 ($6 for seniors, college students, and youth 17 and younger; free for UI students with valid ID) and are available through the Hancher Box Office at 319-335-1160 or 800-426-2437 or online at the Hancher website.

The Department of Dance is a part of the Division of Performing Arts in the UI College of Liberal Arts and Sciences.
