The University of Iowa School of Music will present a free performance by the UI Chamber Orchestra at 3 p.m. Sunday, March 2, in Riverside Recital Hall on the UI campus.
The program will feature:
- Le Belle Hélène Overture by Jacques Offenbach (SungZing Kim, conductor)
- Cantata No. 56 (Ich will den Kreuzstab gerne tagen) by J. S. Bach (Steve Swanson, baritone; Andrew Parker, English horn; William LaRue Jones, conductor)
- Symphony No. 1 in D major by Charles Gounod (Benjamin Nadel and David Tedford, conductors)
- Concertino da camera for Alto Saxophone and Orchestra by Jacques Ibert (Hantao Li, saxophone; Chun-Ming Chen, conductor)
