The deadline for nominations for this year’s University of Iowa Children’s Hospital Kid Captains has been extended to April 14.

Parents and guardians of current or former pediatric patients of UI Children’s Hospital are invited to nominate their child as a Kid Captain for the Hawkeyes’ 2013 football season. Now in its fifth year, the Kid Captain program is a partnership between UI Children’s Hospital and the Iowa Hawkeyes football team to honor these current or former pediatric patients and celebrate their inspirational stories.
