The Iowa Print Fair, featuring six art dealers from across the nation and fine art prints from the 17th century to the present, will be held in the University of Iowa Studio Arts Building lobby from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 2.

The University of Iowa Museum of Art (UIMA) and the UI School of Art and Art History (SAAH) are hosts for the event.

The prints on display will also be available for purchase, including work by George Bellows, Elizabeth Catlett, Tara Donovan, Stanley William Hayter, Ando Hiroshige, Camille Pissarro, and Grant Wood, among others.

The print fair is one of a variety of events that make up Midwest Matrix, a tribute to 20th century fine art printmaking, on Dec. 1 and 2 at the UI. Other events will include a symposium featuring Joann Moser, senior curator of prints at the Smithsonian American Art Museum, the world premiere of the film Midwest Matrix, and UI printmaking graduate students open studios.

Midwest Matrix is supported in part with generous gifts from the Lasansky Corporation, Douglas J. and Linda Paul, and a grant from the International Fine Print Dealers Association.
