The University of Iowa Museum of Natural History continues its fall series, “Storytime Adventures,” at 3 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 18. Join us on the third Sunday of each month as we explore animals and the environment in Iowa and around the world.

This month’s featured animal is the dodo bird. Readings will be followed by related activities participants can do at the museum and at home. Stories and hands-on activities are geared toward elementary-aged children and their families. Please call ahead at 319-335-0606 for groups larger than 10 participants.

The UI Museum of Natural History features four permanent galleries exploring natural history and emerging scientific research in Iowa and beyond.
