Three eastern Iowa radio stations recently wrapped up their annual radiothon fundraising campaigns for University of Iowa Children’s Hospital in Iowa City.
Proceeds from the radiothons, hosted by 98.1 KHAK of Cedar Rapids, and Mix 96.1 KMXG and KISS 101.3 of Davenport, totaled $181,841 and will benefit UI Children’s Hospital through Children’s Miracle Network. Broadcasts were conducted live from University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics.
“It’s an honor to continue supporting UI Children’s Hospital year after year,” says KHAK radio host Scott Steele of Brain and Steele. “Thanks to everyone for their generous support.”
The UI acknowledges the UI Foundation as the preferred channel for private contributions that benefit all areas of the university. For more information, visit www.uifoundation.org.
