Scott Spak, associate professor in the School of Planning and Public Affairs and senior research fellow at the Public Policy Center at the University of Iowa, has been chosen to serve on an advisory panel for the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency. Spak will be a member of the EPA's Science Advisory Board and will evaluate a model utilized by the EPA to measure changes in adverse health effects as a result of changes in air pollution.
