The Obermann Center for Advanced Studies will host two grants totaling nearly $1.6 million from the Andrew W. Mellon Foundation: one for a 2019–20 Mellon Sawyer Seminar titled “Imagining Latinidades: Articulations of National Belonging,” and a four-year grant for “Humanities for the Public Good: An Integrative, Collaborative, Practice-Based Humanities PhD.”
