Kristin Flanary , who oversees the Iowa Online AP Academy at the College of Education’s Belin-Blank Center, recently weighed in on elite prep schools that are doing away with Advanced Placement courses. Flanary says that in Iowa, the courses are still the best option for challenging gifted and talented students.
