Amanda Haertling Thein, of the College of Education, published “Identity-Focused ELA Teaching: A Curriculum Framework for Diverse Learners and Contexts” in March.

Her co-authors on the book were Richard Beach and  Anthony Johnston.

Thein is an associate professor and program coordinator in Language, Literacy, and Culture in the Department of Teaching and Learning at University of Iowa.
