The University of Iowa is teaming up with the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency's Region 7 office and the City of Iowa City on a study of altering the Burlington Street dam. Changes to the dam would improve public safety, water quality, riverbank stability, fish habitat and create recreational opportunities.
