Lori Ihrig, administrator of curriculum and instruction at the University of Iowa College of Education's Belin-Blank Center, has been selected by the National Association for Research Science in Science Teaching (NARST), a world wide organization for improving science teaching and learning through research, for the 2015 NARST Outstanding Paper Award for a conference paper she wrote with Michael Clough and Joanne Olson from Iowa State University in Ames.

The award indicates their conference paper titled: “Effects of Socialization on First Year Science Teachers’ Pedagogical Decision Making and Science Instruction” received the highest ratings among all nominated papers presented at the 2014 NARST International Annual Conference.
