A University of Iowa search committee has announced the second finalist for the next dean of the College of Pharmacy.
Michelle A. Chui is the Hammel-Sanders Distinguished Professor in the Social and Administrative Sciences Division in the University of Wisconsin-Madison School of Pharmacy and the director of the Sonderegger Research Center for Improved Medication Outcomes. She is co-director of the University of Wisconsin Institute for Clinical and Translational Research TL1 program and co-director of the Collaborative Center for Health Equity. Chui’s research focuses on applying human factors engineering approaches to improving medication safety in the outpatient setting.
Chui will meet with faculty, staff, students, shared governance, and campus leadership during a campus visit May 2—3. She will participate in an open forum from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. Thursday, May 2, in room 210, College of Pharmacy Building. A Zoom option is available at https://uiowa.zoom.us/j/92736931858.
