The University of Iowa search committee for the new vice president for legal affairs and general counsel has selected three final candidates. The candidates will visit campus to meet with faculty, staff, students, shared governance, and campus leadership.
The dates of the campus visits are:
- Candidate 1: Wednesday, July 13
- Candidate 2: Monday, July 18
- Candidate 3: Wednesday, July 20
The name of each candidate will be announced 24 hours before their campus visit.
UI President Barbara Wilson in March announced Marty Scholtz, UI vice president for research, as chair of the search committee to replace Carroll Reasoner, who will retire once her successor is named. Reasoner was appointed to the position in 2010 after serving two years on an interim basis.
