For about 10 years, West Liberty has had a Latino-majority population but it wasn't until this year that the city was represented by a Latino-majority city council. Alongside Dana Dominguez, Omar Martinez, Jose Zacarias, Cara McFerren, and Diane Beranek serve on the council, along with Mayor Katie McCullough.
