The Office of Sustainability and the Environment has announced three research and educational projects that have won funding.

The projects are: "Sustainable Food Systems and COVID-19: A Mixed-Methods Assessment of Innovations and Strategies;" "A hard rain’s gonna fall: Responses of Iowa’s bur oak to increased precipitation variability;" and "Algal Blooms Detection and Forecasting through Smart and AI-Powered UAV System."

The projects are funded by the  Provost Investment Fund, through the Office of the Provost, and are administered by the Office of Sustainability and the Environment.
