The University of Iowa College of Liberal Arts and Sciences named seven recipients of the Collegiate Teaching Awards for 2019-2020. The awardees, chosen by the college’s Teaching Awards Committee from nominations by students and colleagues, are Nicole Esposito (Music), Jasper Halekas (Physics and Astronomy), Cris Lira (Spanish and Portuguese), Ambrose Lo (Statistics and Actuarial Science), Christopher-Rasheem McMillan (Dance; Gender, Women's, and Sexuality Studies), Sriram Pemmaraju (Computer Science), and Inara Verzemnieks (English).
