University of Iowa President Bruce Harreld joined university administrators and faculty to visit the childhood home in Mount Pleasant of James Van Allen, the legendary Iowa physicist who discovered the radiation belts around Earth.  Van Allen's home is now a museum dedicated to the scientist's accomplishments.
