One of Lilian Sanchez’s goals as a campaign staffer for Sen. Kamala Harris is to help the candidate connect with Latino voters in Iowa. Sanchez, a 2018 UI graduate, was the first in her family to graduate from college and the first Latina voted vice president of UI Student Government.
