Edward Wasserman, Stuit Professor of Experimental Psychology in the Department of Psychological and Brain Sciences at the University of Iowa, has been honored by the Pavlovian Society.

Wasserman was chosen as the recipient of the Gantt Medal. The award is given to individuals who have made distinguished contributions to research in learning and memory.

Wasserman was presented with the award during the Pavlovian Society's annual meeting in October in Iowa City.

The Pavlovian Society was established in 1955 and is dedicated to the scientific study of behavior and promotion of interdisciplinary scientific communication.
