The University of Iowa's new Visual Arts Building, designed by Steven Holl Architects, incorporates many elements of the STEM-focused innovation campus in hopes of mixing the disciplines of science and art, as well as their modes of instruction, says art professor and studio division coordinator Steve McGuire.
