Iowa Law's Trial Advocacy Team poses with certificates from the National Competition earlier this month.

After winning the Regional Trial Advocacy Competition earlier this year, a team of three Iowa Law students competed in the National Finals last weekend to finish out an extraordinary season.

Iowa Law’s Trial Ad team—composed of 3L Vince Geis, 2L Hannah Graber, and 2L Caleb Copely and coached by Megan Dimitt ’10 and Will Gyauch ’14—made it to the quarter finals where they finished in the top eight.

Approximately 180 schools competed in the competition, and the team lost a close round to Harvard, the ultimate champion.
