The University of Iowa REACH Program in the College of Education received a $25,000 grant from the Autism Speaks Family Services Committee. The award is from the second annual Brian & Patricia Kelly Postsecondary Scholarship Fund, and the funds will be distributed to individuals for up to $5,000 each for the fall 2015 semester.

UI REACH is a two-year, transition certificate program for students with multiple intellectual, cognitive, and learning disabilities. UI REACH provides a campus experience to empower young adults to become independent, engaged members of the community.
