UI ProtoLabs at the University of Iowa can connect inventors and entrepreneurs with area machine shops in physics and astronomy, engineering, and advanced design and manufacturing that specialize in several kinds of prototypes; the program will help folks bring ideas from a napkin to reality more easily.
