The University of Iowa Museum of Natural History will be closed Tuesday and Wednesday, Nov. 26 and 27, so workers can repair a sanitary sewer line.
The museum, located in Macbride Hall in the UI’s Pentacrest, will resume normal hours Friday, Nov. 29, following the Thanksgiving holiday.
Macbride Hall, which also houses university office and classroom space, will remain open during the repairs although occupants will need to use bathrooms in nearby UI buildings Monday through Wednesday.
The Museum of Natural History’s normal hours are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays; 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Thursdays; and 1 to 5 p.m. Sundays. The museum is closed Mondays and national holidays.
