Kate Greenstreet, John Gallaher, and Richard Meier will read from their poetry at 7 p.m. Friday, Sept. 27, in a free reading at Prairie Lights Books in downtown Iowa City. The reading also will be streamed live on the University of Iowa Writing University website.

Greenstreet will read from Young Tambling. She is the author of The Last 4 Things, case sensitive, and six chapbooks, and her work has appeared in Volt, Fence, and other journals. She is a writer and visual artist living in Ireland.

Gallaher will read from a book he wrote with GC Waldrep, Your Father on the Train of Ghosts. He is the author of Gentlemen in Turbans, Ladies in Cauls, The Little Book of Guesses, and Map of the Folded World, as well as an online chapbook, Guidebook. He is co-editor of The Laurel Review and Green Tower Press. He teaches creative writing and composition at Northwest Missouri State University.

Meier will read from In the Pure Block of the Whole Imaginary. He is the author of Terrain Vague, selected by Tomas Salamun for the Verse Prize, and Shelley Gave Jane a Guitar. He is currently writer-in-residence at Carthage College.
