Because of the flood situation and closure of the University of Iowa arts campus this week, the UI School of Music has canceled its summer music camp, scheduled to take place June 9-28.

Registered campers who paid in advance will receive a full refund.

Most of the camps, which included Band and Orchestra Camp June 9-14, Total Percussion and Piano Camp June 16-21, and Jazz Camp June 23-28, were slated to be held in Music West (located in the former Museum of Art building) and Art Building West. Both of those buildings, as well as the UI Theatre Building, were closed this week because of the risk of flooding.
