Annual honors recognize marketing and communication projects

The American Advertising Federation of Cedar Rapids-Iowa City has presented ADDY awards to the University of Iowa and the UI Foundation for marketing and communication projects.

The awards recognize creative excellence in advertising and promotional materials. Winners were announced at the annual ADDY Awards Gala Feb. 23 in Cedar Rapids.

The UI Foundation received Judges Choice and Gold awards for the UI Presidents Club invitation package. The foundation’s Phil Was Here website and “One Moment” online annual report also earned Gold Awards.

UI Foundation staff contributing to the projects included Danette Angerer, Jacob Cummer, Connie Driscoll-Wicke, Eric Hodgson, Leah Klevar, Sara O’Leary, Dan Sandersfeld, Jill Tobin, and Harrison Wheeler.

UI Health Care Marketing and Communications photographer Susan McClellen also received a Gold Award for cover photo for The Iowa Ledger magazine produced by the Tippie College of Business.
