Sara Rynes, professor of management sciences in the University of Iowa’s Tippie College of Business, will discuss the need for businesses to embrace change when she delivers the university’s 30th annual Presidential Lecture on Sunday, Feb. 24.
The lecture, “Leading in the New Wave of Change,” begins at 3:30 p.m. in the Fourth Floor Assembly Hall of the Levitt Center for University Advancement. Music will be provided by a trio of students from the UI School of Music Jazz Studies program, led by Marcelo de Morales Cardoso.
The lecture is based on her teaching interest in organizational change, how important it is for businesses, and why so many struggle with it.
A reception will follow in the rotunda. Admission is free and open to the public.
