Grade schoolers can learn why Ice Age beasts became extinct

The Ice Age is back! Explore the University of Iowa Museum of Natural History (MNH) after dark and discover why giant Ice Age beasts went extinct. Stay up late for the “Night at the Museum” spring series with the “Ice Age” from 6 to 9 p.m. Friday, March 22.

Children will explore the darkened galleries with their own official MNH miner hat with headlamp, participate in fun and games, and eat pizza provided by event sponsor Papa John's Pizza of Iowa City.
