A portion of Highway 6, between North Riverside Drive and the Iowa City Veterans Affairs Medical Center will be reduced to one lane each direction this weekend.

The two westbound lanes will be reduced to one lane on Saturday, Nov. 3. The two eastbound lanes will be reduced to one lane on Sunday, Nov. 4. Highway 6 will remain open to traffic at all times and traffic control will be in place. The closure is necessary for work on the Highway 6 pedestrian bridge overpass.
