Iowa Cello Daze, an annual celebration for performers and fans of the violoncello, will be hosted by the University of Iowa School of Music Sept. 29 and 30.

All the Daze events are free and open to the public in the Riverside Recital Hall, including:
- A lecture/performance by Marc Moskovitz on the Zemlinsky Cello Sonata at 1 p.m. Saturday.
- A concert featuring Colin Carr, Marc Moskovitz, Iowa City native Kurt Baldwin, and UI faculty member Anthony Arnone at 7:30 p.m. Saturday.
- A Cello Choir/ensemble performance at 3 p.m. Sunday.

Carr is a renowned cellist and teacher in high demand around the world. Baldwin is the cellist of the Arianna Quartet at the University of Missouri-St. Louis. And Moskovitz, who is a Zemlinsky scholar, is another prominent performer and teacher.
