University of Iowa Health Care is hosting 11 simulcast sessions of TEDMED, an event gathering 1,300 adventurous thinkers and doers from 300 medical and nonmedical disciplines April 10-13 at the Kennedy Center in Washington, D.C.
The sessions are free and open to the public.
TEDMED features 11 two-hour sessions; each session features 10 to 15 speakers who will deliver short (3 to 15 minutes each), powerful talks about a single idea. Information on featured speakers can be found at www.tedmed.com/2012speakers.
TEDMED sessions will be shown at various locations throughout UI Health Care facilities. Sessions are scheduled at the following times and places:
