The University of Iowa will host its first Fulbright Day Friday, April 3, to celebrate past UI Fulbright faculty and student awardees and to provide prospective students the opportunity to learn more about the Fulbright process. Marvin Bell—UI professor emeritus in English,  the first Poet Laureate of Iowa, and a two-time recipient of Fulbright awards to Australia and Yugoslavia—will be the keynote speaker.
