University College Bachelor of Applied Studies (BAS) and Bachelor of Liberal Studies (BLS) graduates will be recognized at the In-Person Commencement Ceremony along with graduates from the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences.
Doors open one hour prior to the start of the ceremony. No tickets required.
Dean Sara Sanders and Kevin Kregel, executive vice president and provost, will confer degrees at the ceremony, which includes graduates in CLAS and University College.
Isa Holtze, from Olympia, Washington, will be the student speaker for the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences for the In-Person Commencement Ceremony. Holtze will be graduating with high distinction with a degree in cinema.
Bachelor of Applied Studies (BAS) and Bachelor of Liberal Studies (BLS) graduates are also presented at the University College Virtual Recognition of Graduates each Spring. Nicole Osterman, from Clarion, Iowa, will be the Fall 2025 student speaker for the 2025-2026 University College Virtual Recognition of Graduates Ceremony, which will be livestreamed in May, 2026. Osterman will be graduating with a Bachelor of Applied Studies and a Certificate in Leadership Studies.
